Guraidhoo Kandu is a protected marine reserve in the South Male Atoll and is home to a wealth of world-class dive sites. It's a popular spot for dive safaris and has two main channels that bring in a fine flow of water creatures—from sharks to rays and napoleons and more. What's so special about this area for diving is that you can dive it several times in different ways with drops, reef walls, coral gardens, and underwater archways draped in soft corals.
A deep dive that starts on the outer edge of the northern end of the Vaavu Atoll, Miyaru Kandu sets an impressive underwater scene. Charter guests drifting along this plummeting wall can see everything from whitetip reef sharks to schools of mackerel, trevally, triggerfish, and more. Angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, and sweetlips can also be seen darting and drifting around this area. Endless edges and caves studded with black coral trees and soft, bright coral create a truly mesmerizing backdrop.

The main beach is Bikini Beach, which stretches for 500m and is home to a house reef. On the outer edge of the house reef you can find parrotfish, bafish, schools of barracuda, big tuna, and black and white reef tip sharks.
